Even though our lilypad is located in a major city, it can be hard to find things to do with a young baby. One of the best things we've done since Froggy was born was buy a membership to Shedd Aquarium. There's no pressure to try to see everything in one day, so we can choose one or two exhibits to thoroughly enjoy each trip without Froggy getting overly tired. He loves looking at all of the different fish and animals. As he is getting older, he is becoming more and more interested in his surroundings. It is truly a joy to watch him interact with such a stimulating environment. As an added bonus, going to the aquarium takes away a lot of the stresses of going out with a new baby. It is very well designed, and there are bathrooms with changing stations spread throughout. Shedd also offers multiple designated nursing areas, which is a huge perk for breastfeeding mamas. Now that the weather is warming up, we are able to make more of an outing of our trips by adding walks through museum campus and the park. It's a great way for us to spend some quality family time outside of our lilypad. What are your little ones' favorite places?
